Salma Alalam

Journalist and children’s literature writer. I was born and raised in the United Arab Emirates. She holds a Bachelor’s degree
in Translation Studies from the United Arab Emirates University. I worked as a field journalist for 8 years in several local Emirati newspapers.

I was nominated for the Arab Journalism Award in 2020 in the cultural investigation category for a topic entitled: “Art and culture are a means of tolerance and repelling hatred and violence among peoples.”

The scientist is a mother of two girls and currently works as a freelance content writer and translator.
